Services
Whilst the marina office is manned 24 hours per day, 365 days a year, the normal office hours are from 0900 - 1700 every day.

Should the marina staff be out checking boats, they can be contacted on VHF channel 80, or on +44 (0)23 9260 1201 with an automatic diversion to a mobile telephone.

Toilets & Showers
Haslar Marina is renowned for the excellent quality of the washroom facilities. They are situated across the marina; on board the Lightship and at "G" pontoon. This year sees a brand new multi-use facility located at "A" pontoon. As well as the extremely popular self-contained style shower units, found elsewhere in the marina, there is now a dedicated family/disabled washroom with baby change area and an additional Laundry Room. All these facilities are cleaned daily and we would ask that you to try to leave them in the condition as you would wish to find them for others. Please do not use your boats' sea toilet in the marina.

Security
A swipe card is issued to annual berth holders giving access to the car park and pontoons. There is also an intercom system in operation at all gates for visitors. A very comprehensive CCTV system consisting of sixteen cameras, which will digitally record movements both on and off the water 24hrs a day.

Mail
All incoming mail is kept in the office for your collection. (This will be kept for a maximum of 45 days only). We have an official post box near the loading bay in the car park. Last collection is at 17.15pm.

Weather Information
Weather reports are posted on notice boards around the marina and onboard the Lightship each morning. A Met Office forecast, with synoptics, is available by following the link from this website.

Trolleys
Trolleys are available from the car park and “G” pontoon on the marina. A refundable £1 or €1 coin is required to release the trolley. If you have a heavy or awkward load, please ask a member of staff to help you. Should a trolley accidentally fall into the water, please do notify a member of the team - they will be only too happy to recover it and refund your £1!

Electricity
All berths have been supplied with a metered electrical point. The sockets have a locking system which enables you to lock your plug in or to lock the socket closed. You will need to supply a padlock for this system, but please give a key to the marina office staff. Visitors to the marina will be able to use a separate electricity supply via a special lead which can be hired from the marina office.

Water
The water supplies on the pontoons are all potable and are checked regularly for water quality.

Gas
Gas can be obtained from our on site chandlery during normal working hours.

Fuel
There is no fuel berth at Haslar Marina, but there is a very good facility just a little further up the harbour.

Internet
Wireless Broadband Internet Access is available throughout all Dean & Reddyhoff Marinas to any boat whilst in the marina. You can obtain details of this service at the marina office or go to: www.btopenzone.com.

Ice
Ice is available from the marina office at £1.50 per bag.

Laundry
We have two Laundry Rooms at Haslar Marina; one is located in the bow of the Lightship and the other in the new floating washroom facility at "A" pontoon. Both have high capacity washers and dryers and an additional commercial sink is available at "A" pontoon. Washing powder is available through a vending machine on board the Lightship or from the marina office 24 hours a day.

Telephone and Fax
With the advent of the mobile phone we have significantly reduced the number of payphones across the marina. We do have one, which is situated in the reception of the marina office. It will accept 10p to £1 coins. In cases of emergency, the office telephone (023 9260 1201) can be used to leave messages.

We will accept incoming faxes (for a small donation to the RNLI box). Our fax number is (023 9260 2201). Should you wish to send an outgoing fax please ask the office for charges.

Rubbish and Waste Water
There are plenty of waste containers on and off the marina. We must stress that these bins are for domestic refuse only. There is a large waste oil tank for use by you or your contractor behind the trolley bay in the berth holder’s car park.

Public Slipway
The slipway found adjacent to the crew car park is for use by berth holders and the general public. There is no charge for its use, but you are asked to exercise caution when launching or recovering. This is particularly the case at low tides without a suitable four wheel drive vehicle. Trailers may be stored at the top of the slipway for short periods.

Dry Berthing
Haslar Marina is able to offer dry berthing facilities through Seaway Marine, an independent marine company operating within the marina. They also operate the Powerboat Park, a secure hard standing area which caters for storage of craft up to 13.5 tons / 45ft. For further information please visit: www.seawaymarine.co.uk

Customs
If you are arriving or departing from any country outside the EU or the Channel Islands, you must complete the Customs form C1331. These forms are available from the marina office.

And finally...
The marina staff are here to help. If there is anything you think we can do to improve our service, please let us know. We thrive on your feedback and it will always be well received.
